A list of his accomplishments includes a commissioned portrait by the National Black Prosecutors Association of former President Bill Clinton, a commissioned series of paintings for the Woodruff library in Atlanta, Ga. A commissioned painting for Unity Point Methodist Hospital, a group show “Black Romantic” at the Studio Museum of Harlem and was featured on BET television to name a few.

Romain has had several galleries in multiple locations including Peoria, Oak Park, and Chicago. He purchased a school building, and with his wife, converted it into a community art center four years ago and is in the process of purchasing a second school building presently.

Through a generous donation from the Community Foundation Jonathon Is able to put on these workshops at no cost to the artist and share the things that have helped him have longevity in a very challenging profession. In this workshop artists will learn successful ways of selling and marketing their art.
